The launch is scheduled for March 22. The cargo spacecraft will deliver more than 2.5 tonnes of supplies to the International Space Station, Orda.kz reports.
Assembly of the Soyuz-2.1a rocket with the Progress MS-33 cargo spacecraft was completed on March 16. Today, it was rolled out to the launch pad and erected in a vertical position.

The spacecraft is expected to deliver more than 2,500 kilograms of cargo to the ISS. The shipment includes fuel for refuelling the station, water, food and other supplies for the crew, equipment for repair and maintenance, oxygen, as well as medical and scientific materials.

On launch day, Roscosmos will stream the launch live on its Telegram channel.
News of the completed repairs to the service tower at Launch Pad No. 31 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome emerged in early March. At the same time, officials announced the upcoming launch of the Progress MS-33 cargo spacecraft. The tower collapsed in November 2025 after the launch of a crewed spacecraft. The site remains the only pad currently used for ISS missions.
