Arrest Made in Pavlodar over Raider Takeover of Industrial Enterprise
The damage is estimated at one billion tenge, Orda.kz reports, citing the Department of Economic Investigations for Pavlodar Region.
The Department of Economic Development of the Pavlodar Region, in coordination with the regional Prosecutor's Office, has exposed a criminal authority who committed a raider seizure of one of the major industrial enterprises in Pavlodar in a previously registered pre-trial investigation, the department said in a statement.
The suspect will be in custody for two months. His name will not be released in the interest of the investigation.
The prosecutor's office is investigating whether there were other such cases by the detainee.
