Almaty Holds Another Cleanup Drive Along Riverbanks and in Public Spaces

Another cleanup day was held in Almaty as part of the nationwide Taza Kazakhstan campaign and the Moldir Bulak environmental initiative. Work was carried out in the coastal areas of the Tiksai and Kazachka rivers, as well as in several other parts of the city, Orda.kz reports.
Cleanup efforts were organized in the Kensai-3 district, along the bank of the Tiksai River, in the Duman microdistrict, on Bukhtarminskaya Street, and in the area of 185 Rechka Kazachka Street.
During the cleanup, 14 pieces of special equipment were used. Streets and courtyards, green zones and public spaces were cleared. As a result, about three hectares of territory were cleaned up and about five tons of garbage were removed. the district akimat said.
Cleanup days held as part of the Taza Kazakhstan and Moldir Bulak campaigns are aimed at keeping the city clean, improving public spaces and promoting environmental awareness.
