Kazakh presidential press secretary Ruslan Zheldibay announced that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev may make a state visit to Kazakhstan in October, Orda.kz reports.
In October, a state visit to Kazakhstan by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev may take place. This issue was raised during a recent telephone conversation between the heads of the two states. The parties are currently discussing the exact dates of the visit and its substantive agenda, Zheldibay wrote on his Telegram channel.
He also recalled President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev’s visit to Azerbaijan last year, during which several agreements were signed.
Earlier, it was reported that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is also expected to visit Kazakhstan. Toqayev himself mentioned preparations for that trip in a phone conversation with the Armenian leader.
