Tourist facilities in Almaty Region were inspected ahead of the summer season, Orda.kz reports, citing the government press service.
The inspection was carried out by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balaeva and Tourism Minister Erbol Myrzabosynov. They visited the public beaches of Konaev and the ASP Arena complex.
The inspectors paid special attention to water safety, sanitary conditions and the organization of public order.
They noted that responsibility for holiday conditions lies not only with state agencies, but also with the owners of private recreation areas.
State bodies were instructed to ensure proper maintenance of the territory, cleanliness and safety for visitors. They were also told to strengthen oversight of public catering facilities, compliance with labour laws and the rights of workers, including young people and students.
Special emphasis was placed on transport logistics, the organization of parking areas and the regulation of visitor flows.
Private recreation areas should not limit themselves to commercial activity without proper responsibility to citizens and the state, the statement said.
As a result, the inspectors instructed authorities to strengthen sanitary maintenance, ensure the readiness of infrastructure and security services, and establish systematic control over both public and private facilities.
