Representatives of one of the businesses located in the Gastrocenter have alleged that a relative of Kuandyk Bishimbayev is interfering with their operations, Orda.kz reports.
In February last year, the ZIMA nightclub purchased the entire first floor of the Gastrocenter. The second floor houses the BAU restaurant, where Saltanat Nukenova was killed.
The club later opened to visitors. After the incident, the Bishimbayev family announced they were no longer involved in managing the complex. Despite this, the establishment continued to receive negative attention on social media.
The current owners and management have repeatedly asked the public for understanding and stated that the former Minister of Economy has no connection to the Gastrocenter.
Recently, representatives of ZIMA said that Bishimbayev’s relative entered the premises without prior notice, turned off the lights, and initiated the addition of an agreement through the Gastrocenter administration requiring the club to vacate by December.
We ask ourselves, if the founders really left, why do their close relatives continue to manage the internal processes of the complex? Did the Gastrocenter administration mislead the tenants and the public about the actual composition of the management? The ZIMA night club wrote on social media.
The Gastrocenter houses several businesses. Before the death of Saltanat Nukenova, it belonged to Bishimbayev’s mother.
Control of the building has since passed to a foreign national.
