Zepter Invited to Kazakhstan to Set up Production in Asia

The meeting with the company's representatives took place during the Kazakh delegation's visit to Serbia, Orda.kz reports, citing Kazakhstan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Kazakh delegation, headed by President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev, arrived in Serbia the day before.
As part of the official visit, Gabidulla Ospankulov, Chair of Kazakhstan's Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with representatives of Serbian businesses, including Zepter, a consumer goods enterprise.
During a meeting with Zepter representatives, Gabidulla Ospankulov proposed considering the possibility of opening a production of small household appliances in the country, presenting them with information about raw materials, tax preferences, and other government support measures,the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Zepter products are made in factories in Italy, Germany, and Switzerland, where the company's headquarters are located. If the proposal interests the company's management, the first Zepter production in Asia may appear in Kazakhstan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan also held meetings with Serbian representatives of the pharmaceutical industry, IT, and agricultural processing.
