Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Ankara for bilateral talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Beştepe Presidential Complex, Orda reports.

The discussions focus on:

  • Strategic partnership between Ukraine and Türkiye
  • Strengthening bilateral cooperation
  • Current situation in Ukraine
  • Regional and global challenges

The meeting is expected to conclude with the signing of various agreements and a joint press conference.

Prior to this visit, Zelenskyy met with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the United Arab Emirates and indicated possible visits to Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, Russian and U.S. officials concluded their talks in Saudia Arabia.

Vladimir Putin's aide, Yury Ushakov, said the sides held "a very serious discussion on all issues" and agreed to advance bilateral relations.

The official also commented on discussions regarding a potential Putin-Trump meeting, noting that the leaders were unlikely to meet next week, contrary to earlier Bloomberg reports suggesting such timing.

Russian officials claim separate negotiating teams from Russia and the U.S. regarding Ukraine are expected to establish contact with Putin to determine the Russian representatives at a later date.
