US President-elect Donald Trump has called for an "immediate ceasefire" and negotiations to stop the war in Ukraine, Orda.kz reports, citing Lemonde.
Trump wrote about this on Sunday on his Truth Social platform after meeting with Zelenskyy in Paris on Saturday.
Donald Trump also assured that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky "would like to make a deal" to end the war.
Trump stressed that "it is time to act."
I know Vladimir [Putin] well. It's time to act. China can help. The world is waiting! Trump concluded.
On Saturday, December 7, French President Emmanuel Macron, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and US President-elect Donald Trump held a trilateral meeting at the Elysee Palace.
The conversation lasted about half an hour. Zelenskyy later said that the conversation was about peace.
