This recommendation was voiced at an ethics commission meeting at the Agency for Civil Service Affairs, Orda.kz reports, citing the agency.
The reason is the land fraud that became public recently.
When considering the disciplinary case against the Akim of the Enbekshikazakh District, it was established that he had committed violations of land legislation, expressed in the provision of unlawful preference, as well as in the absence of proper oversight, which led to systemic violations in the sphere of land relations. These actions were qualified as a disciplinary offense that discredits the civil service, and therefore we recommend imposing a disciplinary sanction in the form of his dismissal from his position, the official statement says.
Local activists spoke about the "lawlessness in Talgarsky District." They spoke of alleged allocating land out of turn, issuing permits for illegal construction, and gross environmental violations.
