A Moscow district court had previously ruled that Yandex must remove satellite imagery of a Rosneft oil refinery from its mapping service.
Mediazona reports that the prosecutor's office argued that Yandex Maps provided detailed satellite imagery of the Ryazan Oil Refining Company facility. TASS had previously released a similar report on this but did not name the facility.
The facility has reportedly been targeted by Ukrainian drones four times, resulting in damage to infrastructure and injuries to employees.
