Willing to Use Additional Tools: US Condemns Georgian Dream Party’s Actions

Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State, has issued a statement condemning the Georgian Dream party’s violence against Georgian citizens, Orda reports, citing the US Department of State.
Blinken declared support for Georgian citizens, protesters, media, and opposition figures. In his statement, he condemned the Georgian Dream party's actions, expressed concern over injuries people have sustained, and urged the party to stop its repressive tactics. He also warned that the US is preparing to use tools at its disposal, including additional sanctions.
Law enforcement has used force against protesters in Georgia. Yesterday, reports surfaced that law enforcement searched opposition offices and detained opposition leaders.
