The White House has released an updated table of trade tariffs the U.S. imposes on imports from dozens of countries, Orda.kz reports.
The chart includes two columns: the tariff rates applied by these countries to American goods, and the new retaliatory tariffs the U.S. will apply to their products. The complete list was later shared on X's official White House account (formerly Twitter).
Kazakhstan appears on the extended list with a new tariff rate of 27%.
The highest tariffs target countries such as:
- Cambodia – 49%
- Laos – 48%
- Vietnam – 46%
- Sri Lanka – 44%
- Myanmar – 44%
- Madagascar – 47%
Among major U.S. trading partners:
- China – 34%
- European Union – 20%
- Switzerland – 31%
- Japan – 24%
- India – 26%
- Israel – 17%
- UK – 10%
Russia is notably absent from the list, while Ukraine faces a 10% tariff. No explanation was given for Russia's exclusion, however, sanctions have virtually nullified trade between the nations. Belarus, Mexico, and several other countries were also not included.
All Central Asian states were listed, with tariffs above the baseline 10%. The highest rate in the region was assigned to Tajikistan (28%), and the lowest to Uzbekistan (20%).
