The Afghan issue is one of the current areas of activity of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. What this means, you know very well, Afghanistan for Central Asia, although the situation seems to have stabilized, and is still slowly moving towards a peaceful course. Nevertheless, there are still enough terrorist organizations on the territory of Afghanistan, of course, the problem is very serious, the Secretary General noted.
He stressed that the new program will allow CSTO member countries to coordinate the situation on the border, ensuring regional security.
The meeting of the Collective Security Council will be held in Astana on October 27-28.
In addition to adopting the above document, there are plans to discuss the military-political situation in the region and prepare for the joint celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
