Uzbekistan is planning to strengthen its relationship with the United States in 2025, according to a newly released draft state program, Orda reports, citing Gazeta.uz.
The initiative includes organizing high-level visits with the new US administration and hosting the first expanded strategic partnership dialogue in Tashkent.
The plan calls for deeper cooperation across multiple sectors, including security, education, and environmental protection.
Uzbekistan will also work to maintain its standing in US government human rights reports while strengthening interparliamentary relations through visits from US Congress members.
Enhancing the C5+1 format, which connects Central Asian nations with the United States, is another focus.
The program anticipates a ministerial meeting and a 10th-anniversary summit in Samarkand.
Additional priorities include expanding university partnerships, boosting English language education, and developing joint scientific and environmental projects.
