Uzbekistan and Russia Ink Military Partnership Agreement

Uzbekistan and Russia have sealed new defense cooperation documents in Tashkent on January 22, Orda reports, citing Gazeta.uz.

Defense Ministers Shukhrat Khalmukhamedov and Andrei Belousov signed an immediate cooperation plan for 2025 and a longer-term strategic military partnership program covering 2026-2030.

According to Russia's Defense Ministry, the 2025 cooperation plan includes 50 joint activities spanning all military cooperation areas between the two nations.
