Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke with Kazakhstan's first president in a phone call on Monday, December 30, reports Orda.kz.
The two leaders exchanged New Year's greetings and wished prosperity for both nations.
The current highest level of Uzbek-Kazakh relations of good-neighborliness, strategic partnership and alliance, as well as the dynamic development of multifaceted cooperation in all areas, were noted with deep satisfaction, the message says.
On the same day, Russian President Putin sent his Christmas and New Year 2025 greetings to several heads of state, including President Toqayev and Nazarbayev.
