U.S.-Ukrainian Negotiations Conclude

Ukraine has agreed to accept the United States' proposal for a 30-day ceasefire, Orda reports.
Andriy Yermak, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, announced this.
The ceasefire could potentially be extended by mutual agreement between Ukraine and Russia. Washington plans to resume aid to Kyiv, emphasizing humanitarian processes, including prisoner exchanges and the return of children removed from Ukraine.
Both delegations agreed to determine the composition of their negotiating teams and immediately begin negotiations to achieve sustainable peace, ensuring long-term security for Ukraine,Yermak wrote.
According to "Suspilne," the main topics of discussion were:
- Ceasefire on the sea and in the air
- Agreements on natural resources
Kyiv's primary goal is to restore strained relations with the US and resume American weapons supplies and intelligence sharing.
The meeting was attended by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, who had previously participated in direct talks with Russia.
Waltz said he would speak with a Russian representative in the coming days.
Zelenskyy Confirms Readiness for Ceasefire
The President of Ukraine confirmed the country's readiness for the 30-day ceasefire proposed by the United States. He stated this in a video address published on his official Telegram channel.

Ukraine has accepted this proposal. We consider it positive, and we are ready to take this step. The United States must convince Russia to do this. That is, we agree, and if the Russians agree — at that moment the silence will begin to work, said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

At the same time, the American president intends to speak with Vladimir Putin this week. According to the US leader, if Putin agrees to a ceasefire, it would be "75% of the way" toward ending the war.
