President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has completed his visit to Uzbekistan. He was seen off at Bukhara airport by Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Orda.kz reports. The visit included an informal meeting between the two leaders, discussion of economic and environmental cooperation, and the transfer of archival materials related to historic mausoleums.
As part of the trip, the presidents visited the mausoleum of Bahauddin Naqshbandi, one of the key spiritual sites of the region. Surahs from the Quran were recited there, and prayers were offered for the well-being of the two peoples.
The main event of the visit was an informal meeting of the presidents. Tokayev stressed that there are no disagreements between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, and that all the agreements reached are being implemented consistently. He called Uzbekistan a reliable strategic partner and ally.

The sides discussed the development of cooperation in key areas — from trade and industry to transport, energy, IT and rare earth metals. They also agreed to strengthen interaction between the governments and prepare a joint roadmap for economic cooperation.
Special attention was paid to environmental issues. Tokayev supported the Clean Air initiative and proposed implementing it jointly, noting the difficult environmental situation in Almaty.
In addition, Mirziyoyev handed over to Kazakhstan archival documents from the 1920s–1950s related to the mausoleums of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi and Rabia Sultan Begim. These materials are of historical and scientific value. Following the visit, the sides confirmed their course toward further strengthening allied relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries
