Unemployment: Kazakhstan in Third Place Among CIS Countries
Our country ranked 104th out of 187 countries in the 2024 unemployment rate ranking compiled by ILOSTAT, Orda.kz reports, citing Energyprom.
Kazakhstan's unemployment rate at the time of the rating was 4.8%.
Among the CIS countries, Kazakhstan is in third place in terms of unemployment. The situation is worse only in Tajikistan (11.6%) and Azerbaijan (5.6%). Lower unemployment rates than in Kazakhstan are registered in Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Moldova, says Energyprom.
