UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to Visit Kazakhstan on August 3

Antonio Guterres will arrive in Kazakhstan on August 3, Orda.kz reports.
The upcoming visit of the UN Secretary-General to Aqorda was announced on August 1.
In Almaty, Qasym-Jomart Toqayev and Antonio Guterres will hold talks and also jointly visit the UN regional center for sustainable development goals for Central Asia and Afghanistan,
the statement said.
The last time the UN Secretary-General visited Kazakhstan was in July 2024, when he participated in the SCO summit in Astana.
