Ukrainian opposition leaders Poroshenko and Tymoshenko have acknowledged ongoing communications with Trump's administration but firmly denied discussing Ukrainian elections during these talks, Orda reports.
In her statement, former Prime Minister Tymoshenko confirmed her team is engaged in negotiations with "all allies who can help establish a fair peace quickly" while emphasizing that election discussions remain off the table until a comprehensive peace agreement is reached.
Similarly, former President Poroshenko described his engagement with American partners as "public and transparent," focused on maintaining bipartisan U.S. support.
