Ukraine Confirms Strike on Oil Station Used for Kazakhstan's Exports; Russia Opens Criminal Case

Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff has confirmed striking the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station in Russia's Krasnodar region, Orda reports.
The military statement cited attacks on "strategic facilities supporting Russia's armed aggression," including the Ilsky refinery and the Kropotkinskaya and Andriapol stations, which it claims "provided fuel for occupying forces."
Ukraine's Defense Forces reserve the right to strike strategic objects supporting Russia's armed aggression. Operations to destroy infrastructure supporting Russia's illegal war will continue, the General Staff stated.
The statement did not acknowledge that 90% of oil passing through the Kropotkinskaya station is Kazakhstan's crude from the Tengiz field.
Russia's Investigative Committee has opened a terrorism case regarding the drone attack.
According to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), the suspects are members of Ukraine's military intelligence and armed forces who allegedly dispatched explosive-laden drones.
CPC emphasized that the facility is civilian, not military, infrastructure.
Orda.kz has sent official inquiries regarding the incident to Ukraine's Defense Ministry and the Ukrainian Embassy in Kazakhstan.
