Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) are conducting searches at the premises of Andriy Yermak, Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Orda.kz reports, citing NABU.

Ukrainska Pravda clarified that searches are taking place inside the government district.

Anti-corruption bodies later officially confirmed the searches. Yermak's workplace and his apartment were being searched, according to Dzerkalo Tyzhnia.

Yermak later commented on the matter, according to The Kyiv Independent.

Today, the NABU and SAPO are indeed carrying out procedural actions at my home. The investigators are facing no obstacles. They have been given full access to the apartment, and my lawyers are present on site and are cooperating with law enforcement. I am providing full cooperation on my part.

Meanwhile, Financial Times Kyiv correspondent Christopher Miller stated that the searches are linked to “Operation Midas” — a large-scale investigation into corruption schemes within Ukraine’s energy sector.
