Late on March 23, U.S. and Ukrainian delegations are set to begin talks in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, Orda.kz reports, citing The New York Times.
The meeting will precede scheduled U.S.-Russia negotiations on March 24.
The main topic of discussion will be the 30-day ceasefire on energy infrastructure, an initiative agreed upon by Russia and Ukraine following phone calls with U.S. President Donald Trump on March 18 and 19. Maritime security in the Black Sea will also be on the agenda.
A Ukrainian official told The New York Times that Kyiv’s delegation may meet again with the U.S. side after the American-Russian talks, depending on the progress made.
