UAV Crashed in West Kazakhstan Region

The UAV was discovered on February 18 on the outskirts of the village of Uyaly in the Bokeyorda district, Orda.kz reports, citing Moi Gorod.
Local residents shared the photo. Later, the information was confirmed by the district Akim Nurlybek Daumov.
The length of the object is 120 centimeters. Police and first responders arrived at the scene.
The aircraft is similar to the Crecerelle reconnaissance UAV developed by the French company Sagem.
It has been handed over to the Kazakh military and is in the regional center, Oral.
We contacted the West Kazakhstan Region Police Department for comment.
In connection with the discovery of an object similar to an unmanned aerial vehicle near the village of Uyaly in the Bokeyordinsky district of the West Kazakhstan region, the police department is conducting verification activities together with authorized services, the press service answered.
Notably, the Russian military training ground Kapustin Yar is located on the territory of the Bokeyorda district.
In October last year, a Russian military truck damaged a gas pipeline in the village of Saykhin on its way to the training ground.
As the regional Akimat explained at the time, there is an agreement between Kazakhstan and Russia.
According to it, the military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces has the right to pass through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
