UAE Firm to Invest $1.4 Billion in Kazakhstan Wind Farm Project

President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev met with Masdar CEO Mohammed Al-Ramahi on January 15 during the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week summit.
The meeting focused on a significant renewable energy project in Kazakhstan's Jambyl region.
Masdar, a UAE-based company, has committed to investing $1.4 billion in a one-gigawatt wind farm and will oversee wind turbine production.
This investment marks a significant step in Kazakhstan's renewable energy development.
The talks also covered potential collaboration with ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company). President Toqayev expressed Kazakhstan's interest in partnering with the corporation, particularly in:
