Two Kazakh Students Admitted to Prestigious U.S. Military Academy

Two young citizens of Kazakhstan, Aman Muratbekov and Dinmukhamed Kasymkhan, have been accepted into one of the United States’ top military academies. The U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan called their admission not only a personal achievement but also a step toward strengthening bilateral relations, Orda.kz reports.
As the diplomatic mission emphasized, American military academies admit a very limited number of international students each year, making this acceptance a notable milestone.

The U.S. Embassy hosted a formal reception. Acting Deputy Chief of Mission Keith Bean personally congratulated the students on their success.
U.S. military academies are renowned for their rigorous selection process and comprehensive training programs. They also offer degrees in engineering, management, international relations, and more. Education is state-funded and includes housing, meals, medical care, and a monthly stipend.
Graduates are required to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces for five to eight years, depending on their chosen specialization and branch.
