Two District Police Officers Reportedly Detained in Almaty Region on Corruption Suspicion

Two district police officers from the Qarasay district have been detained in the Almaty region, Orda.kz has learned from its own sources.
According to preliminary information, the officers are suspected of corruption. The detention is reportedly connected to a case that was under their supervision.
Both officers are currently being held in a pre-trial detention facility. The investigation is being conducted by the Anti-Corruption Service under the National Security Committee (KNB).
A request for official comment has been sent to the KNB, and a response is pending.
