Two heating boilers malfunctioned almost simultaneously in the village of Jibek Joly, Orda.kz reports.
The first incident occurred in a private home, and the second at the nearby KazArt enterprise.
A man born in 1974 was injured in the residential rupture and hospitalized with a head injury.
According to the Arshaly District Akimat, the boiler ruptured in a boiler room attached to the house, damaging an area of about ten square meters and partially collapsing a wall, though no fire followed.
The injured person was taken to Astana Regional Multidisciplinary Hospital No. 1. Doctors diagnosed him with a closed head injury and a laceration to the head. After receiving medical attention, the patient was released for outpatient treatment,
the akimat reported.
Shortly afterward, another boiler ruptured at the KazArt LLC facility, located nearby. Reportedly, no one was severely injured.
Emergency services dispatched two personnel, a special vehicle, and three specialists from the village’s emergency response team to investigate the incident.
According to the local public group nayza_kokshe, one man may have been hit on the head by a brick during the incident.
Power outages are being considered a possible cause of the ruptures.
