Turkestan Region: New Akim to Be Chosen

On Monday, January 6, local maslikhat deputies will meet to consider the issue of appointing a new head of the region, Orda.kz reports.
The meeting will be held in Turkestan, and the agenda includes “approving the appointment of the Akim of the Turkestan region.”
Since August 2022, the region has been headed by Darkhan Satybaldy.
