Turkestan as Turkic World's Center and Regional Development: Ashimbayev Gave Report to Toqayev

Senate Speaker Maulen Ashimbayev met with President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev and discussed the Senate's work and plans for the near future.
Toqayev has been informed about the following:
— 28 laws have been adopted. Some relate to housing policy, education, child rights protection, the educational savings system, stock trading and entrepreneurship, the judicial system, and countering drug trafficking.
— Draft laws that regulate the protection of labor rights, including regulating creative industries, forestry, and other areas.
— The Budget, Construction, Water, and Tax Codes being reviewed next year.
— Special attention being given to the laws "On the Unique Status of Turkestan."
The city is set to become the center of the Turkic world.
— The Senate focusing on the development of the regions of Kazakhstan.
Concluding the report, Ashimbayev announced preparations for the VIII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which is scheduled for September 2025.
