Travel Agency CEO Shares Video and Details of Almaty Airport Self-Immolation

The head of the Nur Ai & Co travel agency, in whose office a man set himself on fire at Almaty Airport, published a video from the scene, Orda.kz reports.
Gulmira Sadvakassova, CEO of Nur Ai & Co, shared details of the incident that occurred on August 26 on her Facebook page.
He came in, asked for a phone, started calling someone on it, said that he missed his flight, and then poured gasoline on himself. Our agent asked permission to leave, he let her out, and then set himself on fire. Our brave employee Ksenia, it's good that she didn't panic, she worked clearly and quickly, Gulmira Sadvakassova said.
She also posted a fragment of the office surveillance video.
I don't know what happened to this young man, but he already came with flammable liquid. He didn't ask to change the ticket, he just asked for a phone number. We don't know him, he's just a client, the agent didn't have a conflict with him,added the company's director.
The man attempted self-immolation on August 25 at 22:06 in Terminal T-1 of Almaty Airport, near the travel agency’s counter. Police and security staff quickly extinguished the flames, and he was taken by ambulance to the city hospital.
According to preliminary reports, the suicide attempt followed a conflict with his partner. He is currently in the intensive care unit of Almaty City Hospital No. 4 in serious condition.
