Transit Flights via Kazakhstan Doubled in Two Years

This was stated by the Vice Minister of Transport Talgat Lastayev, Orda.kz reports.
Answering journalists' questions at the Green Airports seminar, the vice minister said that since 2022, the number of transit flights through Kazakhstan has more than doubled. And their number continues to grow.
Kazakhstan is very attractive for transit flights. We have all the infrastructure for this. Now we are working to improve it, said Lastayev.
The Vice Minister says Kazakhstan’s attractiveness is because the main transit routes between Europe and Asia pass through our country.
