According to Law 17-1 "On the President", after the new head of state takes office, i.e., after the inauguration, a number of civil servants are shifted into temporarily acting status and akims into the status of acting.
The newly elected president must appoint or reassign them. This list includes 17 positions, as well as akims of regions, cities of republican significance and the capital.
On November 28, a number of civil servants from the list have already received their reassignment. The president's team, at least most of it, has remained the same.
The current head of the Presidential Administration, Murat Nurtleu, was the first to be reassigned. He has been in this position since February 1, 2022.
Natalia Godunova has been reassigned to the post of chairman of the Supreme Audit Chamber (former Accounts Committee) as of November 28.
The following persons were reassigned:
Yermek Sagimbayev was reassigned to the post of Chairman of the National Security Committee
Olzhas Bektenov was reassigned to the post of Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency
Zhanat Elimanov has been reassigned to the post of Chairman of the Republic's Financial Monitoring Agency
Saken Isabekov has been reassigned to the post of Head of the State Security Service
Aibek Dadebayev has been reassigned to the post of Managing the Affairs of the President
Darkhan Zhazykbayev has been reassigned to the post of Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs
Asset Irgaliyev has been reassigned to the position of Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms
Marat Omarov was reassigned as Chairman of the Agency for Protection and Development of Competition
What is to come of the State Councilor (Yerlan Karin), the Chairman of the Constitutional Court (the newly formed body), the Prosecutor General (Berik Asylov), the Chairman of the National Bank (Galymzhan Pirmatov), the chairman of the Central Election Commission (Nurlan Abdirov) and the mayors of the capital, cities of republican significance and regions remains unknown.
