Toqayev Signs Decree on 2025 Military Conscription

Kazakh President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev has signed a decree on military conscription for 2025, Orda.kz reports.
According to the document published by Aqorda's press service, conscription will take place in two phases:
- Spring draft: March – June
- Autumn draft: September – December
Men aged 18 to 27 will be called to serve in the Armed Forces and units under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Emergency Situations, National Security Committee, and State Security Service.
The same decree also orders the discharge of soldiers who have completed their service terms. It takes effect immediately upon official publication.
