Toqayev Receives Defense Minister

President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev received a briefing on the combat readiness of Kazakhstan’s armed forces, Orda.kz reports.
Defense Minister Ruslan Jaqsylyqov updated the president on the military’s current state, including progress on the state defense order and military infrastructure development.
According to Aqorda’s press service, the discussion also covered troop preparedness.
Toqayev assigned Jaqsylyqov specific tasks, instructing him to enhance the military’s combat potential, develop special operations forces, and strengthen social and ideological efforts within the armed forces.
