Toqayev Offers Condolences to Erdoğan Following Kartal Hotel Fire

The President of Kazakhstan wished those affected a speedy recovery, Orda.kz reports.
A fire at the Grand Kartal Hotel, located in the Kartalkaya ski resort in Bolu Province, claimed the lives of 76 people. Another 51 people were injured. The tragedy occurred on January 21.
Today, President of Kazakhstan Qasym-Jomart Toqayev sent a telegram of condolences to the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
On behalf of the people of Qazaqstan and on his own behalf, the President expressed sincere condolences to the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the families of the victims, and the entire brotherly Turkish people, and also wished a speedy recovery to all those affected, Aqorda reports.
Türkiye has declared a day of mourning on January 22.
