Toqayev Meets with PresightAI Chair to Discuss Digital Transformation and AI Solutions

Kazakhstan President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev met with PresightAI Chair of the Board, Thomas Pramotedham, to discuss digital transformation and advanced technologies, Orda.kz reports, citing Aqorda.
During the discussion, Toqayev emphasized the importance of enhancing digital infrastructure and proposed the creation of a supercomputer cluster to support technological advancements in Kazakhstan.
Pramotedham acknowledged the high level of Kazakhstani IT companies and reaffirmed PresightAI’s commitment to a long-term partnership with the country.
AI and Smart City Development in Astana
The meeting also covered plans for the Smart City project in Astana, which integrates artificial intelligence to improve urban management.
The President supports the implementation of AI solutions for managing Astana's urban infrastructure. In particular, he noted the creation of a situation center based on the AlemAI International Center for Artificial Intelligence, which will improve the efficiency of city services,

Kazakhstan’s collaboration with PresightAI dates back to 2023, when Astana Hub signed a memorandum with the Emirati company, exploring potential venture investments in Kazakhstan's tech startups.
Notably, Astana Hub participants benefit from tax exemptions, fostering a favorable environment for innovation and investment.
