Toqayev Meets with Maduro in Moscow, Invites Venezuelan Leader to Kazakhstan

The meeting with Nicolas Maduro took place in Moscow, reports Orda.kz, citing Aqorda.
Qasym-Jomart Toqayev arrived in the Russian capital on the afternoon of May 8. There, he held a meeting with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
The Head of State emphasized that he views Venezuela as an important partner. At the same time, he noted that for objective reasons, significant achievements in bilateral cooperation have not yet been achieved. In this context, Qasym-Jomart Toqayev invited Nicolas Maduro to visit Kazakhstan on a state visit,
the press service of Aqorda said in a statement.
Speaking about trade cooperation, both presidents focused primarily on the energy sector. Additionally, the Kazakh and Venezuelan sides agreed to prepare and exchange lists of priority export products.
