Toqayev Meets Pavel Durov at Digital Bridge Forum

On the sidelines of the Digital Bridge 2025 forum in Astana, President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev held a personal meeting with Telegram founder Pavel Durov, Orda.kz reports.
According to Aqorda, they discussed potential cooperation in education, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
Toqayev highlighted Telegram’s role in advancing Kazakhstan’s digital infrastructure, noting that the company has joined the Astana Hub, opened an office in the country, and launched an AI lab at the Alem.AI center.
Pavel Durov spoke to Qasym-Jomart Toqayev about the prospects for implementing joint projects in the field of artificial intelligence, Aqorda stated.
