Toqayev Made New Appointments in Diplomatic Corps

President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev dismissed several diplomats and appointed new ones, Orda.kz reports.
By presidential decree, Kairat Lama Sharif was relieved of his duties as Kazakhstan's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Egypt and Tunisia. Additionally, Akylbek Kamaldinov stepped down from his position as Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Croatia.
New appointments in the diplomatic corps:
- Askar Zhenis was appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Arab Republic of Egypt;
- Daulet Batrashev became the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Croatia. He previously held a similar position in the Portuguese Republic, from which he was relieved following his new appointment.
- Zhan Galiev was appointed Kazakhstan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Portuguese Republic.
- Talgat Shaldanbay, currently representing Kazakhstan in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, has been granted additional responsibilities. He will now also serve as Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Iraq and Palestine.
