Toqayev Holds Call with Qatar Emir

On June 24, President of Kazakhstan Qasym-Jomart Toqayev held a telephone conversation with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Orda.kz reports.
During the call, Toqayev expressed Kazakhstan’s solidarity with the people of Qatar amid the ongoing regional challenges.
He also praised the Emir’s balanced approach to diplomacy, noting that it had helped ease tensions and prevent further escalation.
The two leaders agreed to maintain high-level dialogue, including during the Emir’s planned visit to Kazakhstan.
