Toqayev Discusses Tengiz Expansion with Chevron Chairman

President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev met with Chevron Chairman and CEO Michael Wirth, Aqorda reports.
The discussion focused on bilateral cooperation and the implementation of major investment projects in Kazakhstan, including gas production and petrochemical development.
Toqayev acknowledged Chevron’s significant role in advancing the country’s energy sector and congratulated Wirth on the completion of the Tengiz field expansion project. Michael Wirth noted that Tengizchevroil has been actively investing in Kazakhstan’s economy from 1993 through 2024.
