Toqayev Discusses AI with Google Rep, EU Ties with Council of Europe at Astana Forum

On the sidelines of the Astana International Forum, Qasym-Jomart Toqayev met with Patrick Warnking, Google Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe, Orda.kz reports.
The President highlighted Google’s significant contribution to Kazakhstan’s digital transformation.
“Toqayev outlined Kazakhstan’s strategic goal — to become the largest digital hub in Eurasia and a leader in the implementation of artificial intelligence across all spheres of life,” Aqorda writes.
Toqayev frequently brings up the topic of AI.
The President also met with Alain Berset, Secretary General of the Council of Europe, to discuss prospects for strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and the European Union.
The EU remains one of Kazakhstan’s key foreign trade partners — arguably the most important.
According to Aqorda, the guest assured the President that the Council of Europe is ready to actively cooperate with Kazakhstan.
