Toqayev Congratulates Putin on Russia Day, Highlights Bilateral Relations

President of Kazakhstan Qasym-Jomart Toqayev sent a congratulatory message to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of Russia Day, Orda.kz reports.
In the telegram, Toqayev emphasized the importance of the bilateral relationship and described it as aligned with the principles of strategic partnership and alliance.
“I note with satisfaction the high level of friendly and good-neighborly relations between our states,” the message reads.
The President also wished his Russian counterpart continued success in his duties for the benefit of the Russian Federation.
Last month, the two leaders held a phone conversation during which they discussed bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on global issues. During the call, President Putin congratulated Toqayev on his birthday, while Toqayev acknowledged the commemorative events in Moscow marking the 80th anniversary of Victory Day.
