Toqayev Congratulates Mirziyoyev, Emphasizes Importance of Kazakh-Uzbek Ties

President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev held a phone conversation with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Orda.kz reports.
Toqayev warmly congratulated his counterpart on his birthday and wished him continued success in his service to the Uzbek people.
He noted that under Mirziyoyev’s leadership, Uzbekistan has demonstrated steady socio-economic progress. Both sides emphasized that the strategic and allied relationship between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan is grounded in trust, good neighborliness, and mutual support.
The two leaders also discussed advancing joint projects in key sectors such as industry, energy, transport, logistics, and agriculture. Toqayev highlighted that the level of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan plays a major role in the sustainable development of Central Asia as a whole.
They also exchanged views on regional cooperation and reviewed the schedule of upcoming bilateral meetings.
