Toqayev Congratulates Kazakhstanis on First National Book Day

The President of Kazakhstan, Qasym-Jomart Toqayev, congratulated citizens on the occasion of National Book Day, celebrated for the first time on April 23, Orda.kz reports.
According to presidential press secretary Ruslan Zheldibay, the date was established following Toqayev's instruction during the National Kurultai in Atyrau in 2024.
Congratulations on National Book Day, which is celebrated for the first time this year! The holiday symbolizes the desire for knowledge, curiosity and love of reading. Thanks to reading, young people gain the ability to think big and progressively. It is these values that form a new quality of the nation,
the president said.
The Head of State previously emphasized these values at the National Qurultay, including during the 2025 session held in Burabay.
