On the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, Qasym-Jomart Toqayev conferred new ranks on law enforcement officers and presented state awards, Orda.kz reports, citing Aqorda's press service.
Addressing those gathered, the President emphasized Kazakhstan’s longstanding policy of neutrality.
Kazakhstan is a peaceful state that maintains friendly relations with all countries. We are convinced that all contentious issues should be resolved solely on the basis of political dialogue. We consistently adhere to this position, which I have stated more than once. But this does not mean that we should be complacent. Our army must be ready to carry out its tasks at any time, Toqayev said.
A total of 30 people, including heads of government agencies, received awards from the President.
Secretary of the Security Council Gizat Nurdauletov was awarded the Barys Order of the 1st degree. Among the three who received the Aibyn Order of the 1st degree, named after Sagadat Nurmagambetov, was the Chair of the Anti-Corruption Service, Askhat Zhumagali.
One of the eight recipients of the Aibyn Order of the 2nd degree, named after Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, was the Chair of the FMA, Zhanat Yelimanov.
Other awardees included National Guard Commander Ansagan Baltabekov, First Deputy Chair of the National Security Committee Ali Altynbayev, Deputy Chief of the General Staff Saken Zhusupov, and Deputy Prosecutor General Galymzhan Koigeldiyev — all of whom received the Order of Danq of the 2nd degree. General Director of Kazaviaspas Alpamys Kamalov received the Order of Qurmet.
Awards also went to lower-ranking security personnel, including department heads, directorate officials, and detectives. Notably, Marine Brigade tank commander Shyngys Bakyt was among the seven honored with the medal "Jauyngerlik Yerligi Ushin."
Toqayev also recognized civilians, or more precisely, honorary civilians. For instance, the only recipient of the Danq Order of the 1st degree was Senate Deputy Marat Kozhayev, a former Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.

The only person awarded the title “Kazakhstannyn Yenbek Sinirgen Qairatkeri” was Alua Baikadamova, granddaughter of General Panfilov and head of the Museum of Military Glory.
