Toqayev Arrives in Samarqand for Central Asia–EU Summit

President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev has arrived in Samarqand, Uzbekistan, to attend the Central Asia–European Union summit, Orda.kz reports.
The visit comes at the invitation of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Toqayev was welcomed at the airport by Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov. Footage from Samarkand Airport ahead of his arrival shows that the Uzbek side carefully prepared for the event.


In addition to the summit, Toqayev is expected to hold several bilateral meetings.
